Frequently Asked Questions

What is Paw.Page?

Paw.Page is a profile and link hub for creators, artists, streamers, communities, small businesses and fans.

You can use one memorable Paw.Page address to share important links, socials, commissions, services, interests and the next step you want visitors to take.

Who is Paw.Page for?

Paw.Page is designed for a wide range of people and communities, including artists, furry creators, streamers, performers, small businesses, LGBTQ+ creators, hobby groups and online communities.

You do not need to belong to a particular community to use Paw.Page.

Is Paw.Page free?

Paw.Page currently provides its core account and profile tools for free.

Paw.Page offers optional Premium and VIP plans. Any price, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms are shown before purchase and explained in the Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy.

How do I create a page?

Create an account, choose an available username, complete your profile and add the links you want visitors to see.

Review your profile's visibility and content settings before sharing it.

What will my Paw.Page address look like?

Your page will generally use a format such as:

  • paw.page/yourname

Usernames are subject to availability and Paw.Page's rules.

Can I change my username?

Username-changing options may depend on the account features currently available.

Changing a username may break old links and may make the previous username available to someone else. Contact support if you need help changing a username that cannot be edited through your dashboard.

Can I hide my profile?

Yes. Your dashboard includes a Public or Hidden profile setting.

A Hidden profile is removed from ordinary public display. However, people who previously copied your information or link may retain it, and search engines may take time to update cached results.

Can search engines find my profile?

Public profiles may be indexed by search engines.

If you do not want your profile publicly discoverable, use the Hidden setting. Search engines and archives are operated by third parties, so removal from their results may not be immediate.

What can I add to my profile?

Depending on available features, you may add:

A profile name and username.

A profile picture.

A biography or introduction.

Website and social links.

Commission or service information.

Community and interest information.

Theme and display preferences.

Additional profile blocks and integrations may be introduced over time.

Can I import my Linktree?

Yes. Paw.Page's importer can retrieve public links from a Linktree page.

Only import a page you own, manage or have permission to reproduce. Review imported links before publishing because imports may be incomplete or outdated.

Will importing delete or change my Linktree?

No. Paw.Page reads publicly available information from the URL you provide. It does not edit or delete your original Linktree.

Does Paw.Page support furry profiles?

Paw.Page welcomes furry creators and communities.

Additional furry profile features-including fursona sections, multiple characters and structured identity fields-may be added as the platform develops.

Can businesses use Paw.Page?

Yes. Small businesses, creators and service providers may use Paw.Page to organise their links and direct visitors to shops, bookings, commission information or contact methods.

Businesses remain responsible for their products, representations, taxes, refunds and legal obligations.

Can I sell products directly through Paw.Page?

Unless a page expressly says otherwise, Paw.Page is a profile and linking service-not the seller or payment processor for transactions conducted on third-party websites.

If direct-commerce features are introduced, their specific terms will be explained separately.

Payments made directly to Paw.Page are solely for subscriptions and software features provided by Paw.Page. Paw.Page does not accept, process, hold, route, split or distribute tips, commissions, donations, creator sales or customer payments on behalf of profile owners. Transactions accessed through external links are processed independently by the applicable creator, seller and third-party payment provider.

Can I advertise commissions or services?

Yes, provided your description is accurate and the service is lawful.

Clearly explain relevant prices, availability, terms, expected delivery and refund or cancellation conditions on your profile or linked service.

What adult or sensitive content is not allowed?

Adult content is not allowed on Paw.Page.

Do not publish, upload, import, embed, request, exchange, or link to content that is primarily adult, pornographic, sexually explicit, fetish-focused, kink-focused, or intended for sexual services.

Sensitive Content controls are for warnings, safety filtering, and moderation review. They do not make adult or prohibited content acceptable.

What does the Sensitive Content control do?

The Sensitive Content control helps visitors hide or reveal content that may need a warning or review.

It is not permission to post adult, sexually explicit, illegal, or otherwise prohibited content.

How old must I be to use Paw.Page?

You must be at least 13 to create or use an account.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to the Terms on your behalf.

Can I use a character name or fursona name?

Yes, provided it does not impersonate someone else, mislead visitors or infringe another person's intellectual-property rights.

Using a character identity does not remove your responsibility for account activity.

Do I have to use my legal name?

No. You may generally use a creator name, community identity, character name or pseudonym.

You must not use a name to impersonate someone, commit fraud or misrepresent an affiliation.

Can I have more than one account?

Multiple accounts may be permitted for legitimate purposes, such as separate brands or characters.

You may not create additional accounts to evade enforcement, spam, impersonate others or manipulate platform systems.

Can someone take my username?

Usernames are generally offered on a first-available basis.

Paw.Page may reassign or change usernames in cases involving impersonation, trademark infringement, fraud, prolonged inactivity or platform administration. Owning a trademark does not automatically guarantee a username, but verified rights may be considered.

Does Paw.Page verify users?

Paw.Page may introduce identity, business or creator verification, but a profile without a verification indicator should not be assumed to be verified.

Always use appropriate caution before sending money or personal information.

How do I report a profile?

Use the "Report this profile" option on the relevant profile.

Select the most accurate reason and include enough information for the report to be reviewed. Do not submit false, abusive or retaliatory reports.

What happens after I report something?

Paw.Page may review the profile, links, available account records and other relevant information.

Possible outcomes include no action, a warning, content labelling, link removal, visibility restrictions, account suspension or termination.

For privacy and safety reasons, Paw.Page may not be able to provide detailed information about action taken against another user.

Can I appeal a suspension or removal?

Where appeals are available, contact Paw.Page with:

Your username.

The affected profile or content.

The approximate date of the decision.

Why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

Any relevant evidence.

Submitting repeated or abusive appeals may delay review.

What should I do if someone is impersonating me?

Report the profile and provide links to your official presence or other reasonable evidence of identity or authority.

Do not submit sensitive identity documents unless Paw.Page specifically requests them through an appropriate secure process.

What should I do about copyright infringement?

Send a copyright notice using the process described in the Terms of Use.

For faster review, identify the protected work and the exact Paw.Page profile or material you believe infringes it.

Does Paw.Page own my content?

No. You retain ownership of your content.

You give Paw.Page limited permission to host, process and display it as necessary to provide the Service.

Can Paw.Page use my artwork for advertising?

The ordinary content licence allows Paw.Page to operate and display your profile. It does not give Paw.Page unlimited ownership of your artwork.

If Paw.Page wants to feature your work in separate promotional advertising beyond ordinary profile previews or platform showcases, it should seek additional permission where appropriate.

Does Paw.Page use my content to train AI?

Paw.Page does not use private account information to train public generative AI models without disclosure and any consent required by law.

Public content may still be accessed or copied by independent third parties outside Paw.Page's control.

What information is public?

Anything you publish on a Public profile may be visible to anyone.

Your login password is not public, and your account email should not be displayed unless you intentionally publish it as contact information.

Review your public profile while logged out if you want to confirm what visitors can see.

How do I delete my account?

Use the account-deletion option if it is available in your dashboard. Otherwise, submit a deletion request through the contact page.

Deletion may not immediately remove cached copies, backups, required transaction records or information retained for security and legal reasons.

Can I export my information?

Data-export tools may be added to the dashboard.

In the meantime, you may submit an applicable access or portability request through the contact page.

Does Paw.Page sell personal information?

As of July 25, 2024, Paw.Page does not sell personal information for money and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If this changes, the Privacy Policy and legally required opt-out controls will be updated.

Does Paw.Page guarantee that external links are safe?

No. Profile owners control their links, and third-party destinations can change without Paw.Page's knowledge.

Do not enter passwords, payment details or sensitive information on a website you do not trust. Report suspicious or deceptive links.

How can I protect my account?

Use a unique password, keep your email address current and do not share login details.

Enable two-factor authentication when it becomes available. Contact Paw.Page promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Is everything on the roadmap guaranteed?

Features, priorities and release timing may change based on development, safety, user feedback and technical requirements.
